New distribution record of Booted Warbler Iduna caligata (Lichtenstein, 1823) from Hanle, Eastern Ladakh, India

Booted Warbler Iduna caligata is known for wintering in the southern part of India. It is recorded for the first time from trans-Himalaya, Ladakh. The present record of this species extends its distributional range up to the south-eastern part of Ladakh, Hanle Village. In the present article, detailed diagnostic photographs and a distributional map of the species are presented.
