Abstract

Booted Warbler Iduna caligata is known for wintering in the southern part of India. It is recorded for the first time from trans-Himalaya, Ladakh. The present record of this species extends its distributional range up to the south-eastern part of Ladakh, Hanle Village. In the present article, detailed diagnostic photographs and a distributional map of the species are presented.
