Abstract

The Red Necked Phalarope (Charadriiformes: Scolopacidae) is recorded for the first time from the Narayan Sarovar Wildlife Sanctuary during September, 2018. The species was sighted in pair in the adult non-breeding stage in a large wetland in the sanctuary for almost three days.
