Abstract

Recently, while conducting faunistic survey of Lepidoptea in Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary, Arunachal Pradesh, the butterfly species, Ypthima nareda (Kollar, [1844]) was collected and reported from the state of Arunachal Pradesh for the first time. The species is an addition to the list of butterflies of Arunachal Pradesh.
